Experience in gymnastics, coaching, teaching, early childhood education, child development, physical education, recreation, or youth programming is a plus, but it is not required. We provide extensive training in The Little Gym curriculum and teaching philosophy.
More importantly, we are looking for the right person—someone dependable, personable, motivated, and interested in making this role a meaningful part of their career.
There is something special about watching a child accomplish something they didn't believe they could do.
Our instructors have the opportunity to become an important part of children's lives while building meaningful relationships with the families we serve. You will see children develop confidence, overcome challenges, learn new skills, and grow—sometimes over the course of many years.
We work hard, stay active, support one another, and have fun, but we also take our responsibility to our members and our community seriously.
For the right person, this position offers the opportunity to become an established member of our team and grow into additional responsibilities and leadership opportunities over time.
With locations around the world, The Little Gym is a leading enrichment and physical development program for children ages 4 months through 12 years. Through Parent/Child, Pre-K, and Grade School gymnastics programs, children develop physical skills while building confidence, independence, and social-emotional skills in a positive and nurturing environment.
Our philosophy is simple: children learn best when they are having fun, feel successful, and are encouraged to progress at their own pace.
This is a full-time, long-term position averaging approximately 30–40 hours per week.
Candidates must have flexible/open availability and be able to work evenings and weekends. Our busiest times are when children are out of school, so evening and weekend availability is an essential part of this position.
