Job summary

Calex-Sports-Inc is seeking part-time coaches to run after-school programs at Bay Area elementary schools, typically 1 class per day (about one hour) from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM, with potential extra 30 minutes pre-care. All sessions aim to create a fun, energetic environment for younger and beginner-level children.

You’ll teach ages 5–10 using provided lesson plans, keep 8–16 students engaged, attend a two-day training, and coordinate attendance with parents and school staff.

Qualifications

• Must be 19+ years old upon application.
• Candidates must currently live locally and be available for in-person work.
• Experience in sports coaching or working with kids is preferred but not required.
• Enjoys working with children in a positive and active setting.
• Flexible, reliable, and punctual.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Must be fully vaccinated and willing to undergo a TB test and Live Scan background check before starting work.
• Must complete sending photo and short biography to upload on our website and introduce your experience in sports.

Job Overview

Our programs are held at various elementary schools, Monday–Friday between 1:00 PM and 5:00 PM. This is a part-time position where coaches typically teach one class per day (about one hour), with the possibility of an extra 30 minutes of pre-care. These sessions focus on creating a fun and energetic environment for younger and beginner-level children.

The pay ranges from $50–$65 per session, and all equipment is provided by us.

Requirements:

• Must be 19+ years old upon application

Programs are offered at multiple schools across the Bay Area. Candidates must currently live locally and be available for in-person work.

We do have other Programs like Yoga, Soccer, PE, Pickleball, Volleyball, Basketball, Floor Hockey and Dance. You’re welcome to apply to any of these as well.
