Job summary

Tutu School San Francisco - Bay Street is looking for a passionate dance instructor who is committed to nurturing young dancers. The ideal candidate should have a background in ballet, excellent communication skills, and the ability to lead engaging classes for children aged 6 months to 8 years.

Instructors will follow a carefully crafted curriculum, interact with families, and uphold the Tutu School principles that promote creativity and joy in dance. Availability on Wednesdays from 9:00-11:45 am is a must.

Qualifications

• Experience in dancing with a ballet background is strongly preferred.
• High school or equivalent is preferred.
• Teaching experience is preferred.
• Needs to be available on Wednesdays from 9:00-11:45 am.

Responsibilities

• Lead 45-minute classes following Tutu School’s carefully crafted Class Curriculum.
• Take attendance and answer basic questions about class membership and promotions.
• Build rapport and communication with students’ families and prospective clients.
• Perform basic retail duties including product restocking and processing sales using a point-of-sale system.
• Maintain organization and cleanliness of the studio, lobby, retail display, and bathroom.
• Communicate effectively with management and administration.
