Job summary

Learning Care in Mansfield, OH is hiring Assistant Teachers to join a caring team dedicated to children and families. You will follow licensing guidelines, maintain a clean, interactive classroom, and help create a joyful learning environment.

You will observe, assess, and plan for children's development, communicate with families, and participate in ongoing training including childcare and development topics.

Qualifications

• The ability to meet state and/or accreditation requirements for education and experience.
• The ability to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.

Responsibilities

• Follow licensing guidelines and company standards to ensure daily care of every child. Maintain a fun, interactive classroom that is clean and organized.
• Develop your ability to observe, assess, and plan for children, and effectively communicate with families.
• Complete extensive training on childcare, preschool and child development topics.

Compensation and Benefits:

• Compensation range of $14.74-$15.31 based on Position, Education and Experience. Bi-weekly and Daily Pay options
• Health insurance (medical, dental, vision, and FSA) provided for full-time employees, Limited medical offered for part-time workers
• Education assistance including tuition reimbursement and certification, 401K (plus company match), life and disability insurance and child care discount available to all employees
• Monday-Friday work week
