Job summary

The Goddard School in Edmond, OK is seeking part-time teachers to join our early childhood education team. The role supports children through play-based learning and a proprietary curriculum, with afternoons from 1 pm to 6 pm.

We value caring, creativity, and collaboration; you'll work with families and fellow staff to ensure safety and development while providing a nurturing classroom environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior classroom experience (Infant, Toddler, Preschool, Kindergarten).
• Ability to work 1–6 pm, any days.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Meet the individual needs of children and families.
• Interact with children to support learning through play and exploration.
• Implement developmentally appropriate classroom management strategies.
• Communicate professionally with parents and staff.

The Goddard School located in Edmond, OFF Western, is an early childhood education center currently seeking part‑time teachers.

Are you a college student in need of a flexible working schedule? This role is great for college students who are pursuing their degree! We will work around your morning school schedule.

Our faculty is comprised of caring and dedicated teachers with a strong foundation in early childhood education. We encourage our teachers to utilize their creativity to implement our proprietary curriculum through fun and imaginative activities. We truly believe that learning through play is the key to a lifelong love of learning.

Our teachers are responsible for:

• Meeting the individual needs of children and their families
• Interacting with children to support learning through play and exploration
• Implementing developmentally appropriate classroom management strategies to ensure success for all students
• Communicating appropriately and professionally with parents and fellow staff
• Complying with all Quality Assurance and state standards to ensure each child's safety and well-being
• Creating a nurturing and positive learning environment to develop a lifelong love of learning for all children

Teacher qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Prior classroom experience (Infant, Toddler, Preschool, Kindergarten)
• Must be able to work between the hours of 1 pm-6 pm any days of the week
• Strong written and communication skills
• Displays fluency in written and oral communication
• A strong desire to mold and shape the minds of young children
