Job summary

Jovie in California is seeking a caring nanny to work in families' homes. This role focuses on engaging activities, reading, crafts, and play, with a strong emphasis on safety and reliability.

Part-time schedules (12-30 hours/week) with weekday afternoons and weekends; requires at least 1 year of childcare, 2-3 references, reliable insured transportation, and a cell phone with data for assignments. You’ll be compensated hourly with bonuses and mileage reimbursements.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of childcare or nanny experience.
• At least 2-3 childcare references are required.

Responsibilities

• Engage children with activities, play, reading, and crafts in families' homes.
• Ensure safety and provide loving, attentive care.
• Travel to multiple family homes with reliable transportation.

Location:

Start Date: ASAP

Pay range: $18 per hour to $21 per hour per hour + sibling care bonuses + guaranteed mileage reimbursements (up to $23 per hour)

Responsibilities And Requirements

• An engaging, child-focused individual who is willing to have fun, play, read, do arts and crafts, and other activities in families' homes. This isn't watching....this job means "doing".
• At least 1 year of childcare or nanny experience
• At least 2-3 childcare references are required
• Part-time schedules are available (12 - 30 hours per week) - Weekday afternoons & Weekends are our biggest need!
• Reliable and insured transportation is required to travel to various family homes, families may also request drop off and pickup for activities during your shift
• Cell phone with data to accept and record assignments
