Job summary

Sittercity Incorporated is seeking a reliable caregiver for a 5-year-old boy who is mildly autistic and hyperactive, yet intelligent and independent. Morning duties include brushing teeth, washing face, dressing, preparing a simple breakfast, and walking to the bus stop steps away from home.

Hours are 6:00 AM–9:15 AM, approximately 2–3 mornings per week with days varying. The role requires patience and a calm, supportive morning routine for a child with autism/ADHD.

Qualifications

• Experience with toddlers and preschoolers.
• Experience with school-age children.
• Experience with multiples is a plus.
• Special needs experience is required.
• Sitter has own car is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Help the child brush teeth and wipe his face.
• Assist with getting dressed as needed (he can dress himself).
• Prepare a simple breakfast.
• Walk him to the school bus stop, which is just a few steps from the home.
• Maintain a calm, supportive morning routine for a child with autism/ADHD.
