Job summary

Excel Learning Center in Leland, NC, invites applications for a part-time driver to support our school-age program. This role focuses on safe, timely transportation with a caring, dependable approach.

To qualify, you must be 23 years or older, hold a valid driver's license and have a clean driving record. Prior transportation or childcare experience is a plus, and applicants should meet state licensing requirements.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 18 with HS diploma or GED.
• Active driver's license and clean driving record.
• Experience transporting children is a plus.
• Basic knowledge of state childcare licensing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide transportation for school-age program.
• Ensure safety, schedule adherence, and student check-in/out.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and report issues.

Pay Range

$13 - $15.50 USD

What It Takes to Join Us

• At least 18 years old with a HS diploma or GED
• EDU 119 and 12+ hours of ECE coursework (or currently enrolled and working toward it)
• Experience teaching young children
• A love for teaching young children and supporting their growth
• Ability to meet all state and federal childcare licensing requirements
