Child Development Schools is seeking a dedicated Childcare Cook to support our nutrition program and the health and development of the children in our care. You will prepare nutritious meals and snacks in a fast-paced classroom environment, following CACFP guidelines and center menus.
This role requires a high school diploma or GED, a valid food handler's permit, and the ability to pass a background check. Prior experience in food service for children is a plus, and you must be willing to help
As a Childcare Cook at Child Development Schools, you will play an important role in the health and wellbeing of the children in our care. Every meal and snack you prepare is a direct investment in a child's growth, energy, and development. You will work in a fast-paced but purposeful kitchen environment, preparing nutritious food that meets the needs of young children and the standards of our program.
What your day looks like:
Pay: $15-$17 per hour, based on experience.
Full-time employees receive:
Prior experience cooking for children or in an institutional food service setting is a plus.
