Job summary

Acquire4Hire is seeking a friendly cook to prepare breakfast, lunch, and snacks for students and staff at our Georgia childcare centers. You will follow health guidelines, manage food inventory, and maintain a clean, well-organized kitchen while supporting classroom activities as needed.

Requirements include prior cooking experience for multiple people, a High School Diploma or equivalent, and being at least 18 years old. Knowledge of local regulations is preferred.

About This Role

We are looking for a friendly face to cook and feed our students breakfast, lunch, and snack. Our cook is responsible for overall food preparation, food inventory, cleaning & sanitizing, and additional center support when needed. Must be willing to abide by all health and safety guidelines mandated by the State of GA.

What You’ll Do

• Prepare meals/snacks for children and staff while abiding by health and nutrition guidelines.
• Maintain inventory of food and kitchen supplies.
• Follow the provided daily menu.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen.
• Classroom Assistance as needed.

Requirements

• Work experience in cooking and/or food preparation for multiple individuals, preferably in a childcare setting.
• A High school Diploma or equivalent.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• An understanding of all current and local regulations.
