Job summary

Early Learning Academies (ELA) in Colorado is seeking a dedicated Cook to prepare and serve meals for classrooms. The role emphasizes food safety, kitchen cleanliness, dishwashing, and inventory management.

You will work Monday through Friday, with no nights or weekends, and benefit from competitive pay, 401K, and health coverage. Prior childcare exposure is a plus, and a valid driver’s license may be required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must meet state, federal, and Early Learning Academies guidelines regarding education, immunizations, employment health and safety training.
• A valid driver’s license is required if driving is a job requirement.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve meals to classrooms.
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness and sanitation, including dishwashing.
• Manage food order intake and inventory.
• Ensure compliance with kitchen safety and health regulations.

We are seeking a dedicated Cook to join our team, responsible for prepping and serving meals to classrooms. The ideal candidate will ensure that the kitchen remains clean and sanitary, which includes dishwashing, managing food order intake, and maintaining inventory. Knowledge of kitchen safety and health department regulations is highly desirable. Additionally, previous experience in childcare is advantageous, as some tasks will involve working directly within classrooms.

Pay Range

$16 - $17 USD
