Child Development Schools Texas is seeking a part-time Childcare Assistant Teacher for the Infant classroom in Fort Worth, TX. You will assist the Lead Teacher to deliver age-appropriate activities, maintain a safe, clean classroom, and engage with children throughout daily routines.

You will also communicate with families and help with attendance and daily notes. The role offers competitive hourly pay of $13–$14 based on experience and education, along with benefits including

Your role

As an Assistant Teacher at Child Development Schools, you will help create a classroom filled with discovery, creativity, learning, and joy. Working alongside your Lead Teacher, you will support young learners through meaningful experiences that encourage curiosity, confidence, kindness, and growth. From hands-on activities and storytelling to everyday learning moments, you will help shape a warm and welcoming environment where children feel safe, supported, and excited to explore the world around them.

You will serve as a trusted partner to families, a positive role model for children, and an important part of our collaborative teaching team dedicated to making early childhood education engaging, nurturing, safe, and fun.

What your day looks like:

• Support the Lead Teacher in delivering age-appropriate lessons and activities for the Infant Classroome
• This role will be hours 12AM-6:30PM
• Help maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom that meets licensing and ratio requirements
• Engage directly with children during activities, meals, transitions, and outdoor time
• Observe children and share developmental notes with the Lead Teacher
• Build relationships with families through warm, consistent daily communication
• Assist with classroom documentation including attendance and daily reports

Pay: $13-$14 per hour, based on experience and education.
