FAMILY RESIDENCE in Leonia, NJ seeks a warm Infant Helper/Nanny to support one baby while mom rests and dad works upstairs. The role is in-home, collaborative, and requires gentle infant care and ability to work closely with a parent in the home.

Flexible hours are available; initially Monday, Tuesday and Thursday 9am–5pm with potential expansion when Mom returns to work in January. Responsibilities include soothing, bottle feeding, light household tasks related to the baby, and keeping the baby

Job description

We are seeking a warm, reliable, and attentive Infant Helper/Nanny to assist with our baby in Leonia, NJ.

We are looking for support for Mom who will be home during shifts, making this a great fit for someone who enjoys a supportive, collaborative environment. Dad is remote working upstairs and mom is currently on Maternity leave.

Will be looking for expanded days and hours once Mom returns to work in Jan.

Schedule & Hours:

Flexible hours for Monday, Tuesday and Thursdays between 9-5pm.

Key Responsibilities:

• Holding, soothing, comforting, and bottle-feeding. Along with playing and diaper changing.
• Light house work, putting away dishes, washing bottles, folding/washing baby laundry, organizing baby area.
• Keeping baby engaged and safe while mom pumps, rests, or manages errands/appointments.

Qualifications:

• Prior experience with newborns/infants (bottle feeding, burping, infant soothing, diaper changing).
• Comfortable working alongside a parent in the home.
