Job summary

Celebree School of Montgomeryville is seeking a Childcare Aide/Assistant Teacher to support lead teachers and uphold Celebree’s high standards of care and education. In this entry-level role you will help meet each child’s needs within a collaborative team and a welcoming learning environment.

You’ll assist with lesson plans, supervise activities, and communicate with parents about progress. Hours are Monday through Friday, 3:00pm to 6:00pm, with no nights or weekends and opportunities for

Responsibilities

• Assist lead teachers in classroom management ensuring compliance with regulations, standards, policies and procedures.
• Provide a welcoming and friendly classroom environment for children, parents and visitors.
• Assist in creating and implementing age-appropriate, stimulating lesson plans aligned with Celebree’s curriculum.
• Assist in managing effective classroom transitions.
• Supervise children during activities and use positive discipline techniques when needed.
• Maintain appearance, cleanliness and safety of the classroom.
• Present a professional image with uniform compliance.
• Communicate with parents by greeting them by name and providing regular updates on their child’s development.

Responsibilities

As a Child care Aide/Assistant Teacher, you will be given the tools, resources, and training to:

• Assist lead Teachers in classroom management ensuring compliance with all regulations, company standards, policies, and procedures.
• Provide a welcoming & friendly classroom environment for children, parents & visitors.
• Assist in creating and implementing thorough, timely lesson plans that are age-appropriate and stimulating in accordance with Celebree’s curriculum.
• Assist in managing effective classroom transitions.
• Assist and supervise children during all activities; counsel children as needed using positive and appropriate discipline techniques.
• Ensure that the appearance, cleanliness, and safe environment of the classroom are appropriately maintained.
• Present a positive and professional image at all times adhering to uniform requirements.
• Communicate effectively with parents, e.g., greeting by name, addressing concerns in a timely manner, giving positive feedback, and providing regular updates on their child’s development and classroom happenings.
