Job summary

Crunch Fitness is seeking a Kids Crunch Representative to provide a welcoming, safe environment for members and children. You will handle registration, supervision, and activities while maintaining high safety and service standards.

The role requires CPR certification, ability to multitask in a fast-paced gym setting, and availability from 9:00am to 1:00pm EST, with occasional weekend shifts. Crunch offers a friendly, energetic workplace with opportunities to engage families and members.

Qualifications

• CPR certification required.
• Experience in fast-paced environments preferred.
• Strong communication and customer service skills required.
• Able to multitask and stay energized in a gym setting.
• Available 9am–1:00pm EST; weekend availability a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly atmosphere for members and children.
• Register and check-out of children & parents.
• Watch and care for children to ensure safety.
• Interact with children consistently and engage in activities.
• Initiate games, arts & crafts projects.
• Assist with feeding or age-appropriate needs under parental directions.
• Keep children calm and safe; sanitize toys and area.
• Communicate information regarding children to parents/guardians.
• Follow all policies and procedures in Employee Handbook.

Childcare (Kids Crunch Representative) Responsibilities

• Provide friendly atmosphere for members and children
• Provide proper registration and check-out of children & parents
• Watch and care for children to ensure safety
• Provide consistent interaction with children
• Initiate games, arts & crafts projects
• Bottle-feed babies or assistance in needs of older children in accordance with parental direction
• Keep children calm
• Clean and sanitize child care toys
• Keep working area free of sharp or harmful objects
• Answer childcare phone
• Communicate information regarding children to parents/guardians
• Know, understand, and follow all policies, procedures, and standards
• Facilitate member requests or forward to a manager
• Know club facility and services
• Assist in all projects as delegated by club management
• Above position may report to the Operations Manager
• Follow all policies and procedures in Employee Handbook

Qualifications

• Valid Child/Infant CPR
• Experience working in fast-paced environment
• Multi-tasking skills-High energy and patience required
• Certifications, as local/state laws require
• Good communication skills
• Strong safety skills
• Strong customer service skills
• Availability from 9am - 1:00pm EST
• 18+ years of age
• Ability to stand, walk, and move for extended periods of time
• Ability to lift and carry up to 30-50 lbs (children, equipment, or supplies)
• Ability to bend, squat, and sit on the floor with children as needed
