Job summary

Air Combat Command at Nellis AFB, NV is hiring Child and Youth Programs CY Program Assistants at target, intermediate, and entry levels. Pay is set per level with required DoD competency training and AF modules; eligibility requires high school graduation or equivalent and proof of eligibility by 09/09/2026.

Open to all applicants with military/spouse preferences and required certifications; 18 months experience for some levels, no minimum for entry level, and benefits may vary by position.

Qualifications

• All levels must be a high school graduate or equivalent.
• CY PROGRAM ASSISTANT (TARGET LEVEL): requires 18 months working in any childcare or youth program and completion of DoD approved competency-training courses; additional DoD documentation for training evidence.
• CY PROGRAM ASSISTANT (INTERMEDIATE LEVEL): Six months experience in a group program for children or youth and completion of 3 AF modules plus AF Orientation Training.
• CY PROGRAM ASSISTANT (ENTRY LEVEL): This is an entry level position; no previous experience required.
