Qualifications

• Five years of paid social service experience for SSS2.
• Bachelor’s degree in social services or related field with 30 credits in Social Service and one year paid experience.
• Master’s degree in social services or related field with practicum.
• One year of experience as a Social Service Specialist 1.
• Ability to take action to learn and grow.
• Ability to take action to meet the needs of others.

Responsibilities

• Assess complex family situations and interview children and parents.
• Develop safety plans to protect children in their homes.
• Provide services to children and families and assess risk.
• Prepare case documentation and court documents.
• Document using FAMLINK and monitor ongoing safety.
