Family and Children Services, Division of in Georgia is seeking a Child Welfare Services Technician 1 to provide administrative and hands-on case management support. The role is office-based in Rock Spring, Walker County, and reports to a Case Manager Supervisor.

Responsibilities include data entry, records procurement, service referrals, and assisting with activities for foster children. Requires a high school diploma/GED and at least 1 year in a social services-related position.

Qualificações

• Two years at an accredited college or university with at least 15 credit hours in a social service-related field.
• One year of experience in a social services-related position.
• High school diploma/GED and one year of experience in a social services-related position.

Responsabilidades

• Completes administrative case management tasks such as obtaining records, data entry, service referrals, and phone verification.
• Hands-on case management support such as DNA collections, transportation, providing direct care to children when needed.
• Scheduling and facilitating meetings and internal staffings when needed.
• Assist with projects such as Christmas for foster children, clothing closet, and visitation room.
• Provide general support to Child Protective Services case management staff.
