Job summary

Expressive Therapy Center, LLC in North Potomac, MD, is seeking an experienced and licensed child psychotherapist and expressive arts therapist to join our collaborative team. The ideal candidate will have a strong clinical background, excellent organizational and communication skills, and a passion for helping children and families.

The role involves providing individual and group therapy to children, adolescents, and families, with some evening or weekend availability.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Clinical Psychology, Social work, or a related field.
• Active Maryland license in good standing as LCPC, LCPAT, LCSW, LCMFT, LGPC, LMSW, or licensed psychologist.
• Minimum of 3–4 years of clinical experience with children/adolescents and/or family and couples therapy.
• Experience with a variety of therapeutic techniques and openness to diverse ages/populations/presenting issues (e.g., anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues).
• Strong communication and organizational skills; able to navigate an EMR system and independently manage a caseload.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality individual and group therapy to children, adolescents, and families.
• Collaborate with a collaborative team in a private-practice style setting.
• Occasional evening or weekend availability to meet client needs.
• Manage client records and coordinate with administrative staff.
