Job summary

Ellie Mental Health-Capital Region NY is seeking a therapist to join our outpatient team in Naperville. You will evaluate diagnoses, develop treatment plans, and collaborate with a dynamic group to improve community mental health.

The role requires a master’s degree in behavioral sciences, clinical licensure, and strong documentation skills. Expect a minimum caseload of 25 visits per week and opportunities for supervision and growth.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in behavioral sciences or related field.
• Licensed in field (LMFT/LCPC/LCSW or equivalent).
• Experience with DAs, treatment plans and clinical notes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to maintain professional boundaries with clients.
• Timely completion and submission of documentation.
• Comfortable working with a diverse client base.
• Fully licensed clinicians preferred for panel credentialing.
• Able to pass a background check.
• Sense of humor.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate mental health diagnoses, create and implement treatment plans.
• Provide excellent client service and collaborate with the team.
• Prepare and submit session documentation per guidelines.
• For FT clinicians, maintain a caseload of 25+ visits per week.
• Coordinate services with case managers, families and school personnel.
• Attend and participate in clinical staff meetings and trainings.
• Perform other meaningful duties as needed.

Clinic Description

Responsibilities Include

• Evaluate mental health diagnosis, create, and implement a treatment plan, complete ongoing documentation including further diagnosis, treatment plan reviews, and case notes according to company policy
• Provide excellent customer service for clients and collaborate with a dynamic team to further the mission of filling gaps in our community
• Prepare and submit individual documentation for each session per company guidelines and protocol
• For Full-Time status clinicians must maintain a caseload of a minimum of 25 client visits per week
• Coordinate services with case managers, families, work personnel, medical personnel, other Ellie staff, and school staff as needed
• Attend and participate in all clinical staff meetings and trainings
• Other stuff we probably forgot to add but just as meaningful and important to your role ;)

Required Qualifications And Skills

• Candidates are required to have a master’s degree in one of the behavioral sciences or related fields from an accredited college or university and on track to obtain licensure in their designated field
• Candidates should have clinical licensure (LMFT, LCPC, LCSW, etc.)
• Required experience with completing DAs, treatment plans and clinical case notes
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to demonstrate and model stable, appropriate boundaries with clients
• Ability to complete and submit documentation of services and other documents in a timely manner
• Comfort and familiarity working with a diverse client base
• Fully Licensed Clinicians will ideally be credentialed with insurance panels.
• Ability to pass a background check
