Job summary

Camden County Schools is seeking a Child Nutrition Substitute to support the school meal program in Camden, NC. The role reports to the Child Nutrition Manager and Director and focuses on assisting with food preparation, serving, and maintaining a clean, safe kitchen environment.

Qualifications include a High School Diploma or equivalent with preferred experience in quantity food preparation and ServSafe certification.

Qualifications

• Experience in quantity food preparation is a plus.
• ServSafe certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist with selection, preparation, and serving of food.
• Maintain a clean and safe food service environment per regulations.
• Store, use, and dispose of food and supplies properly.
• Assist with records keeping and ordering of supplies.
• Exhibit courteous behavior to staff, students, and customers.
• Participate in formal and informal training.
• Maintain a neat, clean, and safe work environment.
• Perform additional duties as requested by the Child Nutrition Manager or Director.
