Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree with a minimum 2.5 GPA and nutrition/food coursework or WVDE training within 90 days.
  • Eight hours of food safety training within the last 5 years or within 30 days of start date.
  • Superintendent recommendation confirming the best-qualified candidate.
  • Ability to oversee program and communicate effectively with Central Office, school nutrition staff and vendors.
  • Knowledge of child nutrition regulations and procedures.
  • Complete required county and WVDE trainings.
  • Ability to perform job duties with or without reasonable accommodations.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with special projects relating to child nutrition supervision and supports.
  • Coordinate with Central Office personnel, schools, administrators and vendors.
  • Ensure compliance with child nutrition regulations and procedures.
