Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years of age.
• Ability to read and complete necessary paperwork in English.
• Excellent communication skills, verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparation of meals and snacks for children.
• Follow pre-approved menus and standardized recipes; document substitutions when needed.
• Adapt menus for dietary needs under guidance of supervisor.
• Record meals served and temperatures daily; monitor plate waste.
• Maintain sanitation standards; ensure safe food handling and storage.
• Obtain First Aid and CPR certification within 90 days of hire.
