Sioux Falls School District is seeking a General Worker for the Child Nutrition program to assist in preparing and serving meals to students, contributing to nutritious, fresh options.

The role is part-time (0.5 FTE) with hours 10:00 am–2:00 pm, 20 hours per week for 9 months. Requires a high school diploma, ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally, and a valid driver’s license.

As a General Worker, you would have the opportunity to share these improvements firsthand with the students of our District through the preparation and serving of our meals.

REQUIREMENTS

EDUCATION LEVEL:

High school diploma

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Constant standing, hand-eye and mind-eye coordination; frequent repetitive motions with wrists, hands and fingers, bending over, stooping, hearing, holding and crouching.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

Ability to follow written and oral directions. Ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects; adhere to District safety procedures. Valid Driver's License and proof of insurance. Consistent work attendance.

PAY INFORMATION

Level DX, starting at $17.75 per hour

Pay Day: Last working day of each month, based on the payroll cutoff schedule.
