Job summary

Doral Health & Wellness is seeking a passionate Child Life Specialist to support children and youth as they navigate healthcare experiences. This is a fee-for-service, 1099 independent contractor role spanning the Westchester Area and New York City boroughs, Rockland, Putnam, Suffolk, and Nassau Counties.

The role involves conducting individual and group sessions, designing therapeutic programs, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care.

Qualifications

• Certified Child Life Specialist with certification through the Child Life Council.
• Experience working with the Medically Fragile pediatric population is highly preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
• Passionate about supporting children and families during challenging healthcare situations.

Responsibilities
