This role involves ensuring patient safety and emotional well-being during healthcare appointments. The position requires collaboration with various teams and offers a base salary of $53,705.60 annually with eligibility for benefits and 30 days of paid time off each year.

Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor's degree, completed a child life internship, and be willing to become a Certified Child Life Specialist within one year.

Qualifications

• Must complete a child life internship supervised by a certified Child Life Specialist.
• Must become a Certified Child Life Specialist (CCLS) within one year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Pre‑planning for healthcare appointments.
• Providing child life support during visits.
• Collaborating with the Adaptive Care Team and Outpatient Child Life Specialists.
• Aiding in program development.
• Educating peers on behavioral support strategies.
