Job summary

Ellie Mental Health - Marlborough is seeking a Child Focused Therapist to provide diagnostic assessments, family and individual therapy, and referrals for children, adolescents, and families. This role emphasizes compassionate care aligned with our values and offers a supportive, collaborative clinic environment.

We offer a non-exempt, full-time position with a compensation model that reflects caseload, licensure, and experience, along with comprehensive benefits and flexible scheduling options.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in behavioral sciences or related field.
• Candidates will have clinical licensure or be on licensure track for LMFT, LPCC, LICSW, LP, etc.
• Experience completing diagnostic assessments, treatment plans, and clinical case notes.
• Experience working with children, adolescents, and families.
• Knowledge of developmental principles and how normal development relates to psychopathology.
• Ability to set and model appropriate boundaries with clients.
• Proficient in Office 365 and EHR systems (Valant), including co-pay collection.

Responsibilities

• Provide diagnostic assessment, treatment (family and individual therapy), and referrals to minor clients and guardians.
• Evaluate mental health diagnoses, create, implement and maintain treatment plans and documentation.
• Maintain caseload to meet weekly billable targets; full-time: 26 hours.
• Deliver high-quality customer service and collaborate with a dynamic team.
• Utilize creative interventions to help clients reach goals.
• Attend and participate in all clinical staff meetings and trainings.

Clinic Location:

2 Mt. Royal Avenue, Marlborough, MA

Compensation:

• This is a non-exempt position. Total earnings for this position will range from $80,000 - $95,000 annually, depending on compensation model selected, number of client sessions per week, licensure, and experience.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Master's degree in one of the behavioral sciences or related fields from an accredited college or university
• Candidates will have clinical licensure or be on licensure track for LMFT, LPCC, LICSW, LP etc
• Experience completing diagnostic assessments, treatment plans and clinical case notes. (Experience with DC:0-5, ECSII/CASII, SDQ assessments preferred)
• Passion and experience working with and meeting the unique mental health needs of children, adolescents, and families
• Knowledge of developmental principles and awareness of the intersection between normative child development and psychopathology in the diagnosis and treatment of children/families
• Ability to demonstrate and model stable, appropriate boundaries with clients
• Proficient in the use of Office 365 and EHR systems (Valant), including collection of co-payments

Responsibilities include:

• Provide diagnostic assessment, treatment (including family and individual therapy), and referrals to minor clients and their parents/guardians
• Evaluate mental health diagnoses, create, implement and maintain treatment plans and complete ongoing documentation
• Active participation and responsibility in building, growing, and maintaining caseload to meet agreed upon weekly billable expectations; full-time: 26 hours.
• Provide excellent customer service for clients and collaborate with a dynamic team to further the mission of filling gaps in your community
• Utilize creativity in interventions to help clients achieve and exceed goals
• Attend and participate in all clinical staff meetings and trainings
