Child & Family Therapist (Part-Time) – $40-$55 Per Clinical Hour | Flexible Schedule

About the Practice

Ardent Counseling Center is seeking a licensed Child & Family Therapist to join our expanding outpatient mental health practice. This role offers scheduling flexibility, administrative support, established referral sources, and the opportunity to build a rewarding caseload without the burden of running a private practice.

Compensation

• $40.00 to $55.00 per clinical hour

Compensation Basis

Responsibilities

• Provide individual therapy to children and adolescents
• Provide family therapy and parent coaching
• Conduct behavioral health assessments
• Develop treatment plans and measurable goals
• Complete progress notes and documentation in the EHR
• Collaborate with schools, physicians, psychiatrists, and community providers
• Utilize evidence-based interventions including CBT, Trauma‑Focused CBT, Play Therapy, Solution‑Focused Therapy, and Family Systems approaches
• Participate in clinical consultation and supervision as appropriate

Qualifications

Required

• Master’s Degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or related field
• Active Illinois license as LCPC, LCSW, LMFT, LPC, or LSW
• Strong clinical and documentation skills

• 2+ years of child and adolescent therapy experience
• Play Therapy training
• Trauma‑informed Care experience
• Experience working with foster care or child welfare populations
• Bilingual Spanish‑speaking clinicians
