Job summary

Exceptional Wellness is seeking a Qualified Mental Health Professional in Houston, Texas to provide vital behavior support services to children with severe emotional disturbances. This role includes engaging families in weekly skills training and developing individualized treatment plans. We seek candidates with a Bachelor's degree in social work, QMHP-CS certification preferred, and at least two years of relevant experience. Ideal applicants will have strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with families and clinical teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in social work or related field.
• QMHP-CS certification preferred.
• Minimum two years’ experience in behavioral health field.

Responsibilities

• Provide Behavior Support services to families of children with severe emotional disturbances.
• Engage families in weekly skills training and Targeted Case Management.
• Develop a service/treatment plan with the clinical team.

Well organized and adaptable

Skilled in speaking in front of groups

Education

Bachelor’s degree in social work or related discipline
