Are you interested in joining a fun and collaborative organization devoted to helping children overcome challenges? We are currently looking to hire a Child Development Specialists to join our interdisciplinary team. The position entails a flexible work schedule, providing individual services to children from birth to 3 years of age with varying delays at clients homes and/or daycare. We offer competitive rates of up to $35 per hour*, drive time, mileage and toys reimbursement. We also have an excellent benefits package for eligible employees which includes medical insurance, paid time off (PTO) , and a flexible schedule.

Schedule:

• We use proprietary software and AI for clinician-client matching
• Clinicians have autonomy to select clients
• Client selection can occur at clinicians convenience

Duties:

• 1:1 treatment in clients homes or daycare centers
• Provide parent education, training, and support
• Collaborate with other clinicians as needed/requested to ensure quality of care
• Develop treatment plans, take session notes, submit progress reports in a timely manner
• Previous experience working with developmentally delayed children and/or a degree in related field
• Positive, high energy, enthusiastic, and flexible demeanor
• Reliable car, proof of auto insurance, and a valid drivers license
• Proof of immunization records, CPR certification, and current, negative TB test
• Strong work ethic, written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills; team-oriented
• Multilingual speaking/reading/writing skills are a plus

Physical Requirements:

• Therapy activities may require playing on the floor or settings where the furniture is child-size
• Careful attention to the safety of the client and surroundings is required
• Sudden and quick movements may be required
• Walking, occasional running, standing, sitting, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, twisting
• Reaching above the head, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds
• Sustained physical activity may be required for up to 60 minutes

*Pay Rate: The professional rate for this position is up to $35/hr for time spent in sessions providing therapy services directly to the consumer; drive time and mileage reimbursement will be compensated at the applicable minimum wage and mileage reimbursement rate. The actual wage rate offered will vary based on several key factors including, but not limited to, the candidates skill set, proficiency in relevant languages, years of professional experience, and the geographical location of the candidate.
