Positive Development is seeking a part-time Child Development Specialist to support autistic children in home-based and onsite Dover, NJ settings. You’ll be coached by clinicians and gain real-world skills in communication, social, and daily living goals.
This role offers direct pay of $22–$28 per hour, plus training pay at $20 per hour, with 3–5 days per week schedule (afternoons/evenings or weekend shifts). You’ll drive between clients with mileage reimbursement.

You'll work one-on-one with children in their homes and/or center based to:
Part-time schedules:
Paid drive time + mileage reimbursement (IRS rate) between clients
This role is ideal for students balancing classes, internships, or graduate school.
Playing on the floor/ground for up to two-three hours per session
Lifting/carrying up to 40 lbs
Sitting, kneeling, crouching, or moving quickly to ensure child safety
