Mentoring Alliance is seeking ministry-minded individuals to join its After School team as Child Care Worker. The role focuses on fostering youth development by leading elementary students in enrichment activities after school.

This part-time, non-exempt position averages 17–20 hours per week and requires CPR/First Aid certification, a background check, and legal work status in the United States. Spanish-speaking ability is highly valued.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 17 years of age; High School Diploma or G.E.D. preferred and some post-secondary training highly preferred
• Ability to earn CPR/First Aid certification (mandatory)
• Pass Mandatory Background/Sex offender check
• Legally allowed to work in the United States
• Have dependable transportation

Responsibilities

• Lead elementary students in enrichment activities after school.
• Support safe, structured programming Monday–Friday 2:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. during the school calendar year.
• Serve as a role model and minister of the Gospel in line with program values.

Child Care Worker

We are seeking ministry-minded individuals to be on our After School team. The Child Care Worker’s primary role is fostering youth development in an after school setting by leading elementary students in enrichment activities. We are looking for an Child Care Worker who is devoted to excellence, wholeheartedness, and developing kids to reach their full potential! You have the chance to have an eternal impact and be a role model to kids in your community. A Child Care Worker is non-exempt, part-time position that average 17-20 hours per week.

At Mentoring Alliance After School, we hire teachers, youth workers, teen workers, college students, mentors and more to serve and develop kids in our programs. As a Christian ministry we are geared toward serving kids and students in our community by offering awesome after school care and activities.

Mentoring Alliance exists to mobilize godly people into the lives of kids and families, to provide tangible help and eternal hope. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

• Agree with and exhibit behaviors in accordance with the Mentoring Alliance Statement of Faith
• Must be at least 17 years of age; High School Diploma or G.E.D. preferred and some post-secondary training highly preferred
• Have a passion and love for working with elementary school-aged children
• Experience working with elementary school-aged children is preferred
• Able to work Monday - Friday 2:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. during the school calendar year
• Ability to earn CPR/First Aid certification (mandatory)
• Pass Mandatory Background/Sex offender check
• Valid driver’s license or Valid ID
• Legally allowed to work in the United States
• Have dependable transportation
