Job summary

The Children's Courtyard in Pflugerville, TX is seeking a Team Lead to guide classroom activities and promote holistic child development. You will lead curriculum implementation, engage with families to support child progress, and mentor new staff while stepping in for director duties when needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in a licensed childcare facility, leading a classroom, and implementing lesson plans.
• College credits towards Early Childhood Education or Child Development or a CDA preferred.
• Ability to meet state and/or accreditation requirements for education and experience.
• Able to work indoors or outdoors with children.

Responsibilities

• Promote the social, physical, and intellectual growth of children in care.
• Lead on classroom management and curriculum implementation.
• Communicate and build relationships with families to promote child achievement and center success.
• Provide mentoring and training support to new hires and fellow teachers, and cover director duties in absence.
