Job summary

CWCC, Inc. in the Greater Dayton Area is hiring Lead and Assistant Teachers to join our supportive early childhood education team. We have openings in Huber Heights, Kettering, Springfield, Beavercreek, Centerville, Miamisburg, Fairborn, and Englewood/Union.

We offer competitive pay ($13–$17/hour) for both Full-Time and Part-Time positions, along with immediate benefits and ongoing professional development to help you grow as an educator.

Responsibilities

• Create a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom for children ages infant through school age.

• Foster children's social, emotional, language, literacy, and school readiness skills.
• Observe children's development and document progress using Teaching Strategies GOLD.
• Partner with families and build positive relationships through daily communication and parent conferences.
• Mentor and collaborate with assistant teachers and classroom aides.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom.

Required Qualifications:

Preferred Qualifications:

• CDA, AA in Early Childhood Education or related field
• Previous experience working with young childrenKnowledge of child development
• Strong communication and classroom management skills

Physical Requirements

• Lift up to 35 pounds
• Work indoors and outdoors
• Ability to bend, kneel, sit, stand, and actively engage with young children throughout the day
• Ability to see, hear and physically interact well enough to keep children safe
