Job summary

Bright Horizons Family Solutions, LLC. is seeking a Teacher to provide high-quality early childhood education in our Encinitas center.

You will create hands-on activities, sustain open communication with parents about daily milestones, and maintain a safe, clean classroom following Bright Horizons policies. This role requires a HS diploma, twelve Child Development units (core courses), and a preference for 12 months of teaching experience.

Qualifications

• High School diploma/GED required.
• Twelve units in Child Development including Growth & Development, Child, Family & Community, Curriculum, and Principles and Practices.
• AA/BA in Early Childhood Education preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create hands-on activities to meet the needs and interests of the children.
• Maintain open communication with parents, sharing daily milestones.
• Ensure a safe and clean classroom by following essential procedures and guidelines.
• Provide support in any classroom or age group where teaching coverage is needed across a center or nearby locations.
