Job summary

Philaymca in Phoenixville is looking for a Child Care Site Manager for the 2026-2027 School Year to lead the before/after school enrichment program. The ideal candidate will have a degree in education or human services and over 2 years of verified child care experience.

You will be responsible for creating engaging learning experiences while overseeing staff and maintaining records. With support from an amazing team, you’ll make a real impact in the community.

Qualifications

• Achieve a degree from an accredited college or university in education or human services.
• 2+ years verified child care experience (2500 hours).
• Ability to pass all relevant clearances and keep training up to date.

Responsibilities

• Find engaging ways to help kids learn.
• Implement and plan curriculum ensuring child-centered experiences.
• Conduct and record child observations and concerns.
• Communicate effectively with parents and guardians.
• Maintain daily attendance records and other paperwork.
• Ensure centers have quality learning materials.
• Attend team-planning meetings.
• Campaign for the Annual Campaign and develop donors.
• Supervise all staff on site.
