Job Position Description:

Are you passionate about the future of early childhood education? As a CCR&R Specialist, you will be the first point of contact for early educators across Washington County. You'll play a critical role in recruiting and retaining providers, managing professional development calendars, and ensuring that families have access to high-quality, licensed child care. • Manage bilingual email communications via Constant Contact, update social media, and create promotional flyers/brochures.
  • Support all aspects of training delivery, including registration, technical assistance for online/in-person sessions, and issuing certifications.
  • Handle fiscal tasks like invoicing and purchase orders via DocuSign, and maintain an organized inventory of program supplies.
Advanced Responsibilities (Specialist II):
  • Curriculum & Training: Co-train and independently deliver high-quality Set 1 trainings aligned with the Oregon Registry.
  • Marketing Development: Lead the creation of quarterly newsletters and marketing materials in both English and Spanish.
  • Mentorship: Work toward becoming an OCCD Master Trainer while mentoring other educators in the field.

  • Must have achieved a Step 7.5 or higher on the Oregon Registry.
  • Certification: Must be an OCCD-approved Community Trainer.
What Will Make You Stand Out:
