Job summary

BrightPath Kids in Maineville, OH is seeking a Lead Teacher to join our team and provide a home-like setting for children, following NAEYC guidelines.

You will collaborate with teachers and families, create developmentally appropriate curriculum, and ensure a safe, nurturing environment. This full-time role offers benefits including a childcare discount, health/dental/vision insurance, and 401(k) with company match.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field, CDA, or Career Pathway Level 3 or Bachelor's degree required.
• 1 year of experience in a licensed child care facility preferred.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Ability to multitask and stay organized.
• Ability to work within regular operating hours.
• Must meet state criteria for child care employment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the safety and supervision of children ages 6 weeks - 12 years in one assigned classroom.
• Create developmentally appropriate curriculum according to NAEYC standards.
• Curate programs and activities based on children’s interests and learning styles.
• Maintain a warm and safe environment that is clean and permits children to grow and explore.
• Partner with families to create plans to provide the best care and education for their children.
• Provide effective communication with parents/guardians about their child.

What will you be doing?
