Job summary

BrightPath Kids is seeking an Infant Lead Teacher to foster a warm, home-like environment in our Madisonville Center. You will collaborate with families and fellow early childhood professionals to provide high-quality care following NAEYC guidelines.

The role emphasizes developmentally appropriate activities, strong communication with families, and a commitment to a safe, engaging classroom. Evening and weekend duties are excluded.)

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent required; CDA or Level 3 preferred.
• 1 year of experience in licensed child care preferred.
• Strong customer service and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the safety and supervision of children in the assigned classroom.
• Create developmentally appropriate curriculum aligned with NAEYC standards.
• Curate programs and activities based on children’s interests and learning styles.
• Maintain a warm, safe environment conducive to growth and exploration.
• Partner with families to create plans for care and education.
• Communicate effectively with parents/guardians about their child.

What will you be doing?

Responsibilities

As an Infant Lead Teacher, you will work side-by-side with teachers and families to provide a home away from home for children in our care, according to NAEYC guidelines. Responsibilities include:

• Ensuring the safety and supervision of children ages 4 years + in one assigned classroom.
• Creating developmentally appropriate curriculum according to NAEYC standards.
• Curating programs and activities based on children’s interests and learning styles.
• Maintaining a warm and safe environment that is clean and permits children to grow and explore.
• Partnering with families to create plans to provide the best care and education for their children.
• Providing effective communication with parents/guardians about their child.

Requirements

• Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education/related field OR Child Development Associate (CDA) credential OR Career Pathway Level 3 required OR Bachelor's Degree in any field
• 1 year of experience in a licensed child care facility preferred
• Strong customer service skills
• Ability to multitask and remain organized
• Ability to work within regular operating hours
• Must meet state criteria for child care employment
