Job summary

Kid Works in Cincinnati is seeking an early childhood educator to join our team at Center: Mount Healthy. You will supervise children ages 6 weeks to 12 years in one class, implement developmentally appropriate curriculum, and collaborate with families to support each child’s growth.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety and supervision of children in one assigned classroom.
• Create developmentally appropriate curriculum per NAEYC standards.
• Curate activities based on children’s interests and learning styles.
• Maintain a warm, clean, and safe environment for children to grow and explore.
• Partner with families to plan for the best care and education for their children.
• Provide effective communication with parents/guardians about their child.

What will you be doing?

Requirements:

• Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education/related field OR Child Development Associate (CDA) credential OR Career Pathway Level 3 required OR Bachelor's Degree in any field
• 1 year of experience in a licensed child care facility preferred
• Strong customer service skills
• Ability to multitask and remain organized
• Ability to work within regular operating hours
• Must meet state criteria for child care employment
