Learning Care Group in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Director to lead operations of a school while fostering a nurturing environment for children and families. You will work with teachers and staff to deliver the curriculum, ensure safety, and maintain compliance with licensing standards.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• High School diploma or equivalent; ECE degrees preferred.
• Willingness to meet state Director requirements.
• 1–2 years of supervisory/management experience with six non-exempt staff; ECE experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage School staff by planning work schedules, evaluating staff performance, and developing performance improvement plans.
• Assist with the implementation of Company-provided curriculum, including coaching, communicating and interpreting standards with teachers.
• Be accountable for the operation of the school, ensuring compliance with company and state licensing standards.
• Ensure an educational, caring and safe environment for children and parents.
• Promote imagination, self-esteem, and discovery in daily activities.
• Enhance the company’s image and position as a provider of choice in educational programs.
• Recruit, select and retain quality staff.
• Help achieve profitability for the company.

Job Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years of age
• High School diploma or equivalent
• CDA, Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree preferred in Early Childhood Education or related field
• Must meet state requirements for education and additional center/school requirements may apply.
• Willingness to attain state mandated Director requirements
• 1-2 years supervisory/management experience of at least six non-exempt associates; experience in early childhood education strongly preferred
