Job summary

Learning Care Group, Inc. is seeking a dedicated Housekeeping Aide for our childcare center. You will maintain cleanliness of classrooms, playground, restrooms, and common areas to support a safe learning environment.

You will assist with decorations, support a team-oriented culture, and help ensure compliance with center and state requirements for education and safety.

Responsibilities

• Keep things fresh: clean classrooms, playground, restrooms; vacuum, mop, dust, wipe surfaces, and empty trash.
• Keep things working: clean equipment and furniture, refill dispensers, and attend to walls.
• Keep things festive: help put up and remove seasonal decorations throughout the year.

Job description

Our Housekeeping Aides are integral to the success of the childcare center by managing the organization and cleanliness that enables children to learn and grow in their environment.

As a Housekeeping Aide, you:

• Keep things fresh! Work to keep the building, classrooms, and playground in a clean, safe, orderly condition. Completes janitorial tasks such as vacuuming, mopping, dusting, cleaning windows, and restrooms. Gathers and empty trash.
• Keep things working! Assist in cleaning school equipment, furniture, fixtures, and walls. Clean restrooms and refill dispensers.
• Keep things festive! Assist with putting up and removing seasonal decorations and displays throughout the year.
