Job summary

BrightPath Early Learning & Child Care is seeking a Center Director for the Phoenix area to lead daily operations at Busy Bees. You will recruit and develop staff, ensure compliance with licensing, and promote a safe, engaging learning environment for children.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/Equivalent required.
• 2+ years of experience in a licensed child care facility.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Demonstrated leadership qualities and ability to supervise others.
• Must be able to function independently within the Microsoft Office suite of products.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to build relationships with children and families.
• Ability to multitask and remain organized.
• Ability to work within regular operating hours.
• Must meet state criteria for child care employment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee center operations, staff recruitment & development, policies, and licensing.
• Ensure classroom objectives and expectations are clear for all staff.
• Handle payroll, accounts payable/receivable, and general communications.
• Enforce state regulations within the facility.
• Implement and track staff training.
• Communicate effectively with parents/guardians.

What will you be doing?

Responsibilities include:

• Managing the overall operation of the center including recruitment and development of staff, management of policies and procedures, child safety, environmental health/hygiene, and state licensing.
• Ensuring that all staff members understand the objectives and expectations within each classroom.
• Managing administrative tasks such as processing payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general communications .
• Understanding and enforcing all state regulations within the building.
• Implementing and ensuring completion of training for all staff members.
• Providing effective communication with parents/guardians about their child.
