Bright Horizons Center in Tampa is hiring a Cook (warming kitchen - portioning and serving) for full-time hours from 8:00am to 3:00pm. You will plan nutritious familystyle meals for children and support center staff through efficient meal service and portion control.

Qualifications

• Candidates must pass required state and company background checks and meet state and company minimum education and experience requirements.
• 18 years of age with a high school diploma or GED is required
• Food handler certification within 30 days of hire is required
• Nutrition coursework or certification is preferred
• Food service experience in childcare, school, or high-volume settings is preferred
• Florida Care Provider Clearinghouse Background Screening

Responsibilities

• Plan and prepare balanced familystyle meals and snacks per approved menus.
• Maintain a clean, safe, organized kitchen following food safety procedures.
• Manage inventory and place orders with approved vendors.
