Job summary

BrightPath Kids in Elma, NY is hiring a Center Cook to prepare nutritious meals for breakfast, lunch, and snacks for the children in our care. You will also help keep the kitchen clean and may assist in the classrooms when needed.

There are no evenings or weekends. Competitive pay with benefits and a childcare discount. Prior food prep experience and a ServSafe certification are preferred, along with CACFP experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1+ years of food preparation experience preferred.
• ServSafe Food Handler certification preferred.
• CACFP experience preferred.
• Ability to work within regular operating hours.
• Must meet state criteria for child care employment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare nutritious meals for breakfast, lunch, and snacks for the children.
• Keep the kitchen clean and organized after service.
• Assist teachers in the classrooms when needed to support learning.
