Job summary

Learning Care Group is seeking a dedicated Bus Driver to safely transport children and staff to school, field trips, and other activities. You will help maintain vehicle safety and follow all regulations, while supporting a positive, caring environment for families.

The role emphasizes flexibility in hours, opportunities to assist in classrooms, and a commitment to safety and teamwork within a trusted childcare network.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license required.
• Safe driving record without violations.
• Flexible hours and schedule.
• Experience working with children preferred.
• Must be at least 21 years old.

Responsibilities

• Transport children and staff by bus or van to and from field trips, schools, and other locations.
• Maintain vehicle safety and regular maintenance in line with school policies.
• Step into teaching or supportive roles as needed by the school team.

The Child Care Center Bus Driver is responsible for safely transporting children and staff on field trips, to and from school, and other locations. The Driver ensures that the bus is regularly maintained and safe for driving under all applicable state and municipal regulations.

Job Responsibilities:

• Caring! Transport children in a bus or van from one loving, educational environment to another with a smiling face!
• Responsible! Ensure each child's safety by maintaining vehicle functionality regularly and implementing safety procedures with their school Director.
• Team player! The Driver may step into a Teacher role or assist in other capacities as needed.

Job Requirements:

• A valid driver's license
• Have and maintain a safe and violation free driving record.
• Flexibility as to the hours and schedule of work
• Experience working with children
• Must be at least 21 years of age
