Job summary

Learning Care Group in Michigan seeks a Bus Driver to join a caring team dedicated to children and families. You will safely transport children on field trips and to school, while helping maintain vehicles and following safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid driver's license.
• Experience working with children is preferred.
• Flexibility with hours and schedule to meet program needs.

Responsibilities

• Transport children in a bus or van to and from school and on field trips.
• Ensure child safety and vehicle maintenance in accordance with state regulations.
• Collaborate with school staff and be prepared to cover classroom roles when needed.

The Child Care Center Bus Driver is responsible for safely transporting children and staff on field trips, to and from school, and other locations. The Driver ensures that the bus is regularly maintained and safe for driving under all applicable state and municipal regulations.

Job Responsibilities:

• Caring! Transport children in a bus or van from one loving, educational environment to another with a smiling face!
• Responsible! Ensure each child's safety by maintaining vehicle functionality regularly and implementing safety procedures with their school Director.
• Team player! The Driver may step into a Teacherrole

Job Requirements:

• A valid driver's license
• Have and maintain a safe and violation free driving record.
• Flexibility as to the hours and schedule of work
• Experience working with children
• Must be at least 21 years of age
