Job summary

HealthFitness, a Trustmark company, is seeking a Child Care Attendant for Beaumont, TX, to join on-call/substitute coverage at client sites. You will help create a safe, engaging environment for children while parents participate in wellness activities.

Responsibilities include greeting parents, planning age-appropriate activities, supervising play, and sanitizing toys. Must be 16+, CPR/First Aid certification within 30 days, and prior childcare or customer service experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be 16 years of age or older.
• CPR/AED/First Aid certification required within 30 days of hire.
• Knowledge/experience with young children is preferred.
• Experience in customer service is preferred.
• Ability to multi-task and work quickly and accurately.
• Computer proficiency including Microsoft Word and Outlook.

About the role

HealthFitness is looking for a caring and dependable Child Care Attendant to join the team at our client site located in Beaumont, Texas. In this on-call/substitute role, you'll help create a safe, engaging, and welcoming environment for children while their parents participate in wellness and fitness activities.

Position Details:

• On-call/substitute coverage as needed
• Flexible 4-8 hour shifts
• Monday-Saturday between 8:00 AM and 1:30 PM
• Responsible for safe and fun play with children who are in the facility.

Key Accountabilities

Minimum Requirements

• Must be 16 years of age or older.
• Adult/child CPR/AED/first aid certification from American Heart Association, American Red Cross or American Safety & Health Institute required within 30 days of hire.
• Knowledge and experience with young children is strongly preferred.
• Experience in customer service preferred.
• Ability to multi-task as well as work quickly and accurately.
• Computer proficiency including at minimum Microsoft Word and Outlook.

Applicants must meet hiring requirements including but not limited to pre-employment drug test. The compensation range for this role is $8.00 - $8.50/hour. The final wage offer will be determined based on factors such as location, qualifications, experience, skill set, and other relevant factors.
