Job summary

VASA Fitness in Crystal Lake, IL is hiring a Child Care Attendant (CCA) to provide safe, engaging care in our KidCare program. You’ll support families by offering age-appropriate activities, maintaining a clean space, and following check-in/check-out procedures.

We offer a base hourly rate of $15.00 with shifts during 8:00am–12:00pm and 4:00pm–8:00pm, Monday through Saturday. Two gym memberships and wellness perks are included to help you thrive both on and off the clock.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children in childcare, education, youth programs, or similar environments.
• Friendly, engaging, and dependable presence.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized KidCare space.
• Adaptable and calm in a fast-paced environment.
• Passion for creating positive experiences for children and families.

Responsibilities

• Delivering a consistently safe, clean, and welcoming KidCare experience.
• Following all check-in/check-out procedures to ensure child safety.

• Maintaining compliance with required background checks, safety scans, and child care standards.

• COMPENSATION: Base rate of $15.00 per hour
• Flexible scheduling: Shifts are available within KidCare operating hours of 8:00am--12:00pm and 4:00pm--8:00pm, Monday through Saturday
