BrightPath Kids Inc is seeking an Assistant Teacher in Strongsville, OH for part-time afternoon shifts. The role involves working alongside teachers and families to provide a nurturing, home-like environment per NAEYC guidelines.

You will help supervise children aged 6 weeks to 12 years, support classroom instruction, and engage children in activities while communicating with parents. The position offers a childcare discount and opportunities for professional development.

Responsabilidades

What will you be doing?

As an Assistant Teacher, you will work side-by-side with teachers and families to provide a home away from home for children in our care, according to NAEYC guidelines.

• Ensuring the safety and supervision of children ages 6 weeks – 12 years.
• Assisting teachers with instruction in the classroom.
• Decorating inside and outside of classrooms as needed.
• Maintaining a warm and safe environment that is clean and permits children to grow and explore.
• Interacting with children to encourage their involvement in activities.
• Providing effective communication with parents/guardians about their child.
